Garden-Level B&B with Private Entry and Outdoor Fireplace in Sint Pancras
Standout Feature
Prive Tuinhuis B&B Elly operates as a ground-floor unit with a private entry, providing guests with direct garden access and an added layer of privacy. The outdoor fireplace serves as a central gathering point, extending the usable living space into the garden throughout cooler evenings. This configuration distinguishes the property from standard hotel rooms, offering a self-contained retreat within a residential setting.
Amenities and Services
The B&B provides free on-site private parking and free WiFi across the property, covering essential connectivity and vehicle security. A minimarket on site supplies daily necessities without requiring travel, while a barber/beauty shop adds convenience for grooming needs. Private check-in and check-out allow guests to bypass front-desk formalities, and the designated smoking area accommodates smokers without affecting non-smoking interiors.
Rooms and Breakfast
Accommodation consists of a Standard Twin Room with Garden View, furnished with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and an electric kettle. A microwave in the room enables light meal preparation, and towels and bed linen are provided fresh. Breakfast is served in the room, with continental and buffet options featuring fresh pastries and fruits, a choice that earned guest praise in the 10/10 review.
Location and Distances
Located 41 km from Schiphol Airport, the property places Alkmaar Noord Station at 4 km, providing regional rail access. The Dutch Cheesemuseum in Alkmaar is 6 km away, and the Vuurtoren J.C.J. van Speijk lighthouse is situated 14 km from the B&B.
